The Black Sheep Foundation was started by a number of Washington University and St. Louis University graduates that formed a rugby team in the mid-1970's. Over the years most of the members became much more than team mates. 7 years ago theses individuals decided to found the Black Sheep Foundation.

Our mission is to generate and distribute financial and other support to organizations that provide care and support for children and their families that are experiencing the trauma of life threatening pediatric disease.

To date we have provided contributions to Friends of Kids with Cancer, Rankin Jordan, and the Foot Prints program and Cardinal Glennon hospital. This year the Foundation has decided to step up its fund raising activites and began supporting other organizations like the Ronald MCDonald House, St. Judes' Center, the Jackie Smith Foundation and simliar organizations.

Over the last 6 years we have donated over $200,000 to these organization.

Our immediated goal is to begin raising the excess of $100,000 per year to support all the organizations we select.
